Today on World Environment Day we are would like to share you a small story. Back in 2016, we started with our basic sustainable material Coir or Coco fibre. We had many thoughts in mind about the products that we are going to create. It has to be sustainable, beautiful, functional, easy to handle and happy to make. It took some time for us to reach there and understand the materials. For us sustainability is whole it start from the basic material, plastic free yarns, plastic free filling for cushions and mattress also plastic free outer coverings.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We created baskets, small and big and we have a basket for all those uses for indoor plants, outdoor plants, storage, kitchen baskets, bread baskets and we found it functional. Then we launched our collection on the Environment Day, June 5 2017. We were hoping to see similar minds connecting with the product. Businesses wished to offer beautiful plastic free products to their customers connected with us. Slow and steady we started growing and we make more than 10000 hand woven baskets a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But our journeys lead us to numerous paths with opportunities, and we chose the best for you always. Now we have a range of products based on coir and other natural fibre product. And as our dream we paired \u201cSustainability with Craft in our collections\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coir Folding Mattress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Travel friendly folding mattresses; coir based filling and cotton outer cover makes it comfortable. The design makes it easy to carry and store and it is an amazing companion for your beach and mountain trips. A biodegradable Travel Mattress!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latex Chair pads<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Soft and bouncy latex chair pads with block printed and embroidered covers are a whole new collection in our sustainability journey. Feather soft cushions remind us of the possibilities of earth friendly choices and the comfort it can give us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coir Meditation Cushions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Small but efficient on the go meditation cushions that can be carried as a bag makes all those journeys and garden time well spend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baskets<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Beautiful hand woven baskets that can be converted as potting mix after it\u2019s use as a pot. It leaves no traces in the earth and nourishes the soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Placemats<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Talking table is collection of coir, sisal and cotton placemats. Beautiful setting makes the meal time more enjoyable and it comes in all forms daily use, decorative, washable, and festive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scrubbers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Few products keep on haunting us even if we thrash the idea. Scrubbers are one such item, coming to me in equal intervals and reminding me to make it. And we are doing it in different formats and for varied uses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our dream of making India\u2019s incredible Crafts and artisan\u2019s part of our products became a reality fast. Our platform of sustainable products is a balanced space where Craft meets functionality, sustainable businesses from different parts of the world interacts and fulfils their requirements. World Environment Day is an opportunity for us to interact share and care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
